I love and hate designing background elements. I feel like I can never make them look good enough so I have to kick myself and force myself to move onto the next panel. So far I have all the background elements in place for the first episode. I started working on the second episode elements last week.
In the meantime my day time job continues to be remote and I'm not complaining at all. Although I do spend the day hours making phone calls and keeping track of students grades/work. But the late afternoon/evenings are FANTASTIC - I don't have to come home mentally exhausted from the day soaked to the bone from the daily grind. I just close the laptop and all that noise disperses. Being at home and productive is my kinda living.
